Educational Qualification & Skill: 12th Class Pass from a recognized Board. AND Ability to take dictation at 100 words per minute in English or Hindi for 10 minutes. Transcription on computer : English: 40 minutes Hindi: 55 minutes 10. Inspector Eligible officers of Central Government, State Governments or Union Territory Administrations who: Hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department OR Have 5 years’ service after appointment to the post of Sub-Inspector on a regular basis in Level-6 in the Pay Matrix (₹35,400–₹1,12,400) or equivalent. Essential Qualification & Experience – Route 1: Possess Master’s Degree in : Statistics / Mathematics / Operations Research / Physics / Economics / Commerce with Statistics OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized University/Institute; AND either: 2 years’ experience in electronic data processing work, including 1 year’s experience in computer programming or operation; OR 2 years’ experience in data processing work, including 1 year’s experience of unit record systems such as tabulating/accounting machines, collators, etc. Essential Qualification & Experience – Route 2: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute with Statistics as a subject AND 5 years’ experience in electronic data processing work, including 1 year’s experience in computer programming or operation.
