Q1. Which positions are currently open for recruitment?
Ans. Applications are invited for the following positions:

Q2. What is the last date for submission of applications?
Ans. The last date for receipt of applications is 31 August 2026 up to 5:00 PM (17:00 hrs). Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Q3. Can I apply for more than one post?
Ans. Yes. However, a separate application must be submitted for each post you wish to apply for.
Q4. How should I submit my application?
Ans. Candidates should submit the prescribed application form along with self-attested supporting documents to the Member Secretary, National Board of Accreditation, so that it reaches before the closing date and time.
Q5. What happens if my application reaches after the deadline?
Ans. Applications received after the prescribed closing date and time will not be entertained.
Q6. Will all applicants be called for the interview?
Ans. No. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview, personal discussion, or written test, as applicable.
Q7. How will I know if I am shortlisted?
Ans. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date and venue of the interview, personal discussion, or written test. No separate communication will be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted.
Q8. Will NBA reimburse travel expenses for attending the interview?
Ans. No. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, personal discussion, or written test.
Q9. What is the tenure of appointment?
Ans. For fixed tenure appointments, the initial tenure is one year, extendable up to five years based on performance. Deputation appointments are initially for three years and may be extended up to five years subject to satisfactory performance.
Q10. Does this appointment lead to permanent employment?
Ans. No. Candidates appointed on fixed tenure or deputation will have no claim for regular appointment or absorption in NBA.
Q11. Where will the selected candidates be posted?
Ans. Selected candidates will initially be posted at the NBA office in New Delhi. However, they may be posted anywhere in India based on organizational requirements.
Q12. What are the working hours?
Ans. The normal office timings are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Candidates may be required to work beyond office hours or on holidays if required.
Q13. What benefits are available to fixed tenure employees?
Ans. NBA has adopted the 7th CPC pay levels, CCS Leave Rules, NPS, and CS(MA) Rules. However, Child Care Leave and Leave Encashment are presently not available to fixed tenure appointees.
Q14. Can candidates already employed apply?
Ans. Yes. Candidates currently employed should apply through the proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer within the prescribed timeline.
Q15. What additional documents are required for deputation candidates?
Ans. Candidates applying on deputation should submit their applications through the proper channel along with the previous five years’ ACRs/APARs, Vigilance Clearance, and Integrity Certificate.
Q16. What is the maximum age limit?
Ans. The maximum age varies by post:
Senior Director (Accreditation): 50 years
Manager: 45 years
Deputy Manager: 40 years
Deputy Manager (Software Developer): 40 years
The age will be reckoned as on the closing date of applications.
Q17. Can the eligibility criteria be relaxed?
Ans. Yes. Educational qualifications and experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the Executive Committee on the recommendation of the Selection Committee for exceptionally deserving candidates.
Q18. Canvassing or influencing the selection process is allowed?
Ans. No. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
Q19. Can NBA cancel the recruitment process?
Ans. Yes. NBA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process or reject any or all applications at any stage without assigning any reason.
